Simply Bitchin.

Love it. The best example of actual Hiphop/Rap on newgrounds. This is good enough for mainstream music. Definitely. I have no real criticism, it's perfect the way it is. 5/5, 10/10. I'm going to follow you closely in the future, keep me interested!

Refreshing, Well-Written, and different!

I really enjoyed this piece. The drum kit is a little erksome at some points, it's just too plain, but that's a minor critisicm in a 6 minute song.
I love the 2 minute piano build up with little spalshes of guitar. I couldn't wait for it to finally hit. When it did I was blown away by the depth and ferocity of the different guitar effects, very realistic sounding. What program did you use for those, or were they recorded?
The ending is perfect too.
Nice job, 5 and 10. Enjoyed listening.

Nice Job

I can play Madworld on piano as well, and sometimes I will sing along as I play, however, you're a much better singer. Not to mention this has some cool additions. The key change is a refreshing change for someone whos heard this 10000 times.

Jazza responds:

thanks bro, it is an awesome song, thats why i did this when i was bored lol

I'm digging this epic beat!

This is some serious shit right here. I agree with a post a little farther down that nothing happens. You need a violin string line to come in and save us from the monotomy with little short, high runs and splashes of color, but that doesn't mean what you wrote isnt tight. But I realize this is a loop so whats the point? Bitchin anyway.

Good Flow, memorable song.

Love the sample at the beginning which repeats throughout. What is it? Nice flow, I like the repeats on some words to mix up the meter. Good Job. The lyrics are good but sometimes obscene, and I have no problem with obscene, but it's almost a little much. It's fucking funny though.

Ingenius and bitchin!

I'm loving this. It's a great idea, so fresh so clean and it's got a mad beat behind it too. I wish it had more boom and less bump. It's like a Drum-n-Bass beat, which is still good, but I wish it had more sustain on the big hits on 2 ad 4 or something.

SHADOWFOX2 responds:

LOLz, without lyrics, this is hardly a hip hop beat, and I'm not exactly sure that too much boom would be good for this one. Don't wanna overdo it you know? Well, your opinion's relly appreciated! (Yes, relly)

Great Intro!

This is a great intro, reminds me of the beginning of Dawn of the Dead. Deserves my 5.

Very Nice!

Love this song. The Trip Hop beat is sick sounding with the rest of it.

It sounds EXACTLY like a song I wrote recently (I wrote it in garageband recently for newgrounds but I actually composed the song for piano more than 2 years ago, which is especially bizarre because I just realized you submitted this song in the exact same month I wrote my other one on piano. This is reallllly freakin strange), and I didn't have any knowledge of this one. They really sound completely alike, as in, we could overlap them and it would probably sound completely normal. It's really bizarre.

5/5, 10/10

Very Danny Elfman-sih!

Don't forget the new Charley and the Chocolate Factory. The opening theme from that movie was composed by Mr. Elfman, and that makes me want to cream my pants. Then use that cream to fill a chocolate bar of some types.
On to the song:
I wish it were longer, and had more kick, like a big build up or something. But it's well done as is. 5/5.

Cool

But I'm hesitant to believe it's your own work. Did not Paganini write a Caprice for Violin in B minor? If this isn't it, then is it simply a scale type exercise? Please respond and explain the nature of this piece, you weren't specific enough in your comment. I'll abstain from voting until you do, if it's your work though then you're getting a 5 because this kicks ass.

Winterwind-NS responds:

this is indeed my own work :]

Paganini wrote 24 caprices for violin which is obviously what inspired this piece.
especially his 5th and 24th caprices.
and yes paganini probably did write a b minor caprice
wen composers write 24 of some kinda piece under one opus usually they try to cover as many keys as possible such as chopins preludes, etudes op.10 and op.25, bach's prelude and fugues, and other things i can name off the top of my head.

in fact, people reading this, you should youtube paganini's caprice 5 or his 24th caprice, theyre masterpieces that arent completely well known enough

thanks for the 10
